Completely automatic, simply connect any camera to this VCR and it becomes a motion activated security system. Whenever motion is detected, this quality 4 Head, VCR starts recording and continues recording until 30 seconds after motion ceases. Then unit goes to standby mode until the next motion is detected. Automatically adjust to any camera or lighting condition. Records video and audio ( if applicable)

 The MAV-3 Motion Activated VCR constantly monitors the signal received from a video camera (not included) connected to the “Line 1 Video Input” at the rear of the VCR to detect motion.  When a motion is detected, the MAV-3 starts recording.  After 30 seconds of non-motion, the MAV-3 will pause.  If there is no motion for a further 2.5 minutes then it will stop.  If a motion is detected while the MAV-3 is paused, then it will resume recording.

 The MAV-3 automatically adjusts to the video signal level.  It can be used with cameras producing signal levels as low as 0.5Vpp to as much as 2Vpp (nominal signal level for composite video is 1Vpp).

Includes complex image processing algorithm which minimizes false alarms due to slow changes in ambient light such as cloud movements and day-night light change or fast changes such as flying birds.

Easy Install:

1. For all wired cameras simply plug the video cable into the back of the motion activated VCR and the MAV-3 is now ready to record only movement

2. For all wireless cameras plug the receiver for your 2.4 GHz. or 900 MHz. camera into the RCA video input on the MAV-3, then setup your wireless camera and you are ready to record your wireless video signal on the motion activated VCR
